Pastor injured in dirt bike accident during church service
KOKOMO, Ind. — Pastor Jeff Harlow may want to reconsider any secret desire he may have had of joining the U.S. Olympic motocross team after an in-service illustration on unity went awry.
No word if the congregation got the visual demonstration, but Harlow will not soon forget the July 19 incident for he is now sporting a broken wrist.
According to Associated Press, Harlow, senior pastor at Crossroads Community Church, lost control of a motorcycle during the service, driving it off a 5-foot platform and into the vacant first row of seats.
“Jeff has already laughed a lot, so he's OK. I think his pride was bruised,” said his wife, Becky, adding that no one else was injured.
She told a reporter that her husband recently attended a motorcycle race and
“had this idea that he would bring this bike out onstage and show people how the rider would become one with the bike.”
Earlier demonstrations that morning and on Saturday night were conducted without incident.

I have heard about so many pastors "arriving" to their message with a motorcycle that I am surprised this doesn't happen more often!
